These terms are designed to allow humans to feel better about the billions of animals they murder and consume every year. The figure is around 10 billion. So every time you hear the phrases: “cage free – grass fed – natural – humanely raised and slaughtered – organic – sustainable farming – and free range” – know that you are buying into the madness and the killing. These farmed animals do not want to die. Every time you visit the meat counter – you are contributing to appalling and barbaric cruelty.
