That’s why the comment – “Don’t show me – don’t tell me – I don’t want to know” is so common. It also explain why people who consume animals and animal products are so defensive. A common reply is “you can chose not to eat animals and so it is my right to chose to do so if I want to. You have no right to judge me”. People say this because we know in our hearts what we are doing.
