It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Puckmas
It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Puckmas – My dog Puck – the eldest of the three is quite the vocal fellow. Before he had two little brothers to annoy his sole purpose in life was the downfall of Mommie. He used my computer for 3 years to write his newsletter – Puck News.
In a fit of Christmas glee he penned the follow ditty. Naturally – it’s sung to the classic holiday melody It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. I can’t imagine why Puck is so intent on my downfall.
It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Puckmas
It’s beginning to look a lot like Puckmas
Everywhere I goes
Mommie in sombre black & Ziggy in sparkling red
And Santa always waving from his sled
But the prettiest sight I sees is Mommie on her knees
By the garden gate.
A pair of toys for Ziggy and a nice red ball for Puck
Nothing at all for Mommie – she’s just run of luck
Maybe a nibble of parsnips and a chocolate bar or two
But nothing really fancy – Mommie’s singing oh boo-hoo.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Puckmas
Everywhere I goes
But the prettiest sight I sees is Mommie on her knees
By the garden gate.
Yes – the prettiest sight I sees – is Mommie on her knees
By the garden gate.
M0mmie fell down all by her important, grown up self on the slippery ice – (honest)
Tee Hee Hee Hee …
Christmas is here in 3 more sleeps!
