The Rock That Is Animal Activism
The Rock That Is Animal Activism – When you throw your heart against the “rock” that is animal activism – be prepared for it to come back to you bloodied, twisted and torn. But come back to you it will – because once you have really surrendered your heart to a calling as noble as that of beautiful sentient beings – there is no going back.

Then add in greed – cruelty – the corruption – the suffering – the shame – the senseless and unnecessary killing – the brutality – the fear and panic – the turmoil and finally the aftermath. Scattered herds, murdered matriarchs – lost wisdom – broken little elephant souls – death and destruction.

ABH Kids – Kindness Is Cool
ABH Kids – Kindness Is Cool – it has always been said that children are the future and I believe this is true. So in October I decided to add ABH Kids to my blog – to give kids a platform to share their thoughts and feelings about animals. With this in mind I felt that ABH Kids needed their own logo – so I asked my wonderful, talented graphic artist Melissa Stewart – who created the logo for A Beating Heart – to create 2 new logos for ABH Kids.

ABH Kids
Kids have strong opinions and I want to give them a voice in ABH Kids. As adults – we know that the future belongs to children. As parents – your most essential duty is to equip your children with decent values – and an abiding and profound respect for other people, animals and nature.
