Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 68
Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 68 – Iggy Oink would like to show human peoples how little piglets would spend their time if they were free to just be “babies” – not confined in filthy factory farms and then trucked to their deaths without ever celebrating their first birthdays. We’re curious and funny and we like to run and play and swim and we love our brothers and sisters. We are a family too!

Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 67
Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 67 – Iggy Oink would like to show human peoples just how sweet little piglets are and he wonders how you turn away and let us be killed so easily and so violently. Peoples need to learn a new way of being in the world – a kinder, more gentle way of living together. It is our home too – not just your world.

It’s Time For Youth To Step Up & Save Lions
Everyone Has A Responsibility – Lions Belong To The World
It’s Time For Youth To Step Up & Save Lions – Last week I published a piece by Orla Mannion – a young woman who lives in Ireland – and a very committed animal advocate. She is in the best possible company with Jacalyn Beales – the Canadian Representative for CACH. I am pleased to publish another post by Jacalyn with a powerful message to young people to get involved. These young women are proof positive that there is a coming to consciousness of the next generations – and not a moment too soon!

But the suffering is so wide spread and immense that more peoples need to be aware of the cruelty so that things can change. Please tell your friends that we need lots of help!

Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 65
Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 65 – Iggy Oink would like to point out that human peoples believe that their babies deserve to be safe and warm and cherished. Mother pigs feel the same way. They are protective and caring. When they look at their piglets they feel “mother love”. The arrogance of the human species claims this love as unique to us and we are wrong.

Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 64
Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 64 – Iggy Oink would like to point out that human peoples are so cruel. They take baby piglets from their Mommies and operate on them with no pain killing medicines. So if you are a man – just think about being turned upside down – shoved it a steel restraining contraption and having your “man bits” cut off with a dirty knife. Next baby …

Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 63
Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 63 – Iggy Oink would like to point out that human peoples are not the only dreamers. Pigs dream! I often dream of my sister Ruby (who got on a truck) – she didn’t want to go. My last memories of her are hearing her soft little snuffles as the truck pulled out of the yard. Ruby had a twisted foot at birth so she walked with an odd ungainly trot – but it didn’t stop her from playing. I wonder where she is – but I think I know.
