THE VANISHING
By Andrew Mercer
Andrew Mercer has written a magnificent poem – The Vanishing – which is so profoundly intelligent that it should be on the “must read” list of every compassionate and caring person. It reaches into the very depth of the soul and forces us to question how we are living in the world.

I am pleased to introduce you to Lando Howard. He writes a great column as Bushwacked Boy and will be a regular contributor on my Blog under Guest Writers. Field Guide vs Game Ranger
By Lando Howard – Guest Writer
I’m going to clarify – Field Guide vs Game Ranger – as people often do not understand the difference when they meet me and find out that I am studying towards becoming a “Field Guide”. They don’t understand what the job entails and confuse it with the role a “Game Ranger” plays.

Deborah Dunham is a writer, activist and social strategist. She has written an incredibly thought-provoking article about two oxen Bill and Lou and how they fared at the hands of humans. If you take away one thought from this post – let it be to open your mind to really “thinking” abut the world in which we live and how we interact with other life forms. I am so very happy to re-post Deborah’s article.
