A Mini Re-Cap
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 18, 2004 – I’m not ready to call this year a fait accompli just yet. However as the year draws closer to an end, it’s time to get out my goal sheet and see how I’ve fared to date. I always have a general idea of what I’d like to accomplish every year, but I try not to analyse my every move.

A Killer Smile – Woman Of Teeth
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 17, 2004 – This is the day. I cleared my calendar of appointments and finished everything that needed to be accomplished by noon, then headed down town to see Peter my dentist. The plan for the day was a mere two hour appointment, during which the dreaded temporary bridge was to be removed and the final, ten months in the making, permanent bridge would be smacked into place – giving me my long awaited “killer smile”.

Out & About With The Alphabet Boys – Part 2
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 16, 2004 – I’m still in the planning stages of my WebSite re-design and the addition of my second site. I’m obviously not going to get the project done this year, as I’d hoped, but I have a good start on the undertaking. I’ve been told that the old adage – “if you build it – they will come” is claptrap (what an interesting word) – so one of the critical ingredients I need to ascertain is how to get people (actually – people who want to buy and sell real estate) to my site.

Unlike Bridget Jones
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 15, 2004 – What is it they call this? I think it’s the first day of the rest of your life! Perhaps this will be the rest of my slimmer, nutritionally fit life. Dorothy and I caught the subway up to Yonge and Eglinton this afternoon to go and see the second Bridget Jones movie.

Aha – One Of Those Moments
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 14, 2004 – In my on-going attempt to lose weight, I’ve focussed on cutting out all the things that I thought weren’t good for me. Of course that took all the fun out of eating. No bread, sugar, desserts, pasta, rice, heavenly cheeses, pizza, bananas, no fat, no carbohydrates.

Another Chat With Scrummie
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 13, 2004 – Well – here it is another Saturday night, and I’m happy to be home! I have no plans. I suppose I could have made some, but it hardly seemed worthwhile. Then I’d actually have to interact with people – and that takes a significant amount of energy.

Ziggy’s View Of The World
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – November 12, 2004 – Even if Ziggy wasn’t my cat, or to be politically correct, if he didn’t live with me, and I just met him by accident – I’d still like him. He has no idea how grateful he should be to me, the person who saved him from certain death. Even if he did know, he wouldn’t care. Ziggy lives life on his own terms.
