Grocery Shopping
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – April 8, 2004 – I have four cherry tomatoes, an egg, a tin of cat food and a bottle of white wine in my fridge. I know it’s time but I hate grocery shopping. If I had a brain that wasn’t engaged in whine mode, I would be thrilled that I have the money to go grocery shopping, a car to get there and a well-stocked grocery store a mere ten minutes away.

Spring Time Soakers
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – April 5, 2004 – Growing up in the country outside a small town in Ontario, my brothers and I walked or rode our bicycles almost everywhere. On a really nasty weather day we sometimes got a ride from one of the moms along the highway – but when we were young, we mostly walked.

Heart Beats For Change
Small Things You Do Can Make A Big Difference
Heart Beats For Change – I often have people tell me that they “love animals” – but they could never do what I do – manage a blog – look at horrible pictures – write articles – watch gruesome videos – participate in protest marches and attend lectures. They believe that there is nothing they can do to help.

Life Lessons
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – April 4, 2004 – I know an extraordinary amount of useless information, most of which I learned in high school or university. Bits and pieces of data, that while interesting, serve no useful purpose at all.
