Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 69 – Iggy Oink would like you to know that pigs are smart. When they arrive at a slaughterhouse they instinctively know what is happening. They smell the blood and hear the screams of those ahead of them being slaughtered. The fear is palpable. They don’t want to die. Would you willingly walk down a kill chute to your own death?

No matter how clever some marketing suit thinks he or she is – there is no such thing as “humane slaughter”. When you read the word “humane” on a package of meat – know that you are being SOLD a fictitious bill of goods. If you buy the products – you are part of this massive system of barbaric cruelty. You cannot claim to “love” animals if you continue to steal their lives and consume their bodies. You are fooling yourself. Just because you care for your own cat or dog – does not mean that you love animals. You cannot love animals when you are part of the machine that continues to harm and kill them by the billions every year!

Why you are eating us in the first place when we are such wonderful beings!
